Hot-Dip Galvanizing Works

Hot-dip galvanizing is essentially a process of coating steel with a protective layer of zinc alloy to prevent corrosion. Not only is this a relatively simple and cost-effective process, but the benefits generated will last for decades. Let’s look at the galvanizing process from start to finish.

Why galvanized:

  • Less maintenance required-these steels are self-maintaining, thickening and maintenance costs are inevitably lower.
  • Longer lifespan-steel can be used for more than 50 years and can continue to protect steel from corrosion.
  • Lower cost-The initial cost is lower than many other commonly used steel anti-corrosion coatings.
  • Fast application-a complete protective coating can be applied in a few minutes.
  • Environmental protection-The maintenance-free coating has a long service life, which can bring environmental and economic benefits. Zinc is naturally present in the world, so the by-product of zinc released into the atmosphere is harmless.
